Jessica Mather

Jessica Mather currently is the assistant production director for the Michael Romeo Group which owns Fur, Midtowne, Tattoo, Lotus, Dirty Martini and Dirty Bar in her hometown of Washington, D.C. But this position is far from her first stint in the business.

At 28, she has been working in the nightlife industry for 12 years! Jessica grew up immersed in club/music business- her mother was an on-air radio deejay, and her father and uncle were club deejays. She has dabbled in being one also, but found the lighting and sound boards more captivating.

Using the knowledge gained from hanging around the Front of House consoles at raves, she landed her first paying gig as a lighting tech at The Edge nightclub in Washington, DC. That led to subsequent positions doing lighting and sound for Nation in DC, Relative Productions, a freelance intelligent lighting company that she co-owned, Five (club also in DC), and became a union sound engineer and stagehand with Local 22 (DC).

Jessica worked on her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park and followed that up with earning her certificates in audio engineering and recording sciences at Omega Studio for the Recording Arts in Rockville, MD.
